I imagine Sticky will know who I'm talking about, one of the famous commentators for cricket on the radio. I remember my 1st husband taught me the best way to watch cricket at home was with the sound turned down on the TV and the radio on. Blowers was my favourite, with his "dear old thing", talk of the ball "bobbling" along the grass and mention of pigeons and buses!
I used to enjoy the cricket being on purely for his commentry.

He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

You're right. I checked back to the report I'd read and they've published an apology. He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.
