Introducing myself

Hello everybody. I'm new to the forum so this is my introduction.
I'm 65 and retired from teaching in 2008. I suppose like everybody here I've got arthritis so I won't bore you with any details, I'm sure you understand only too well what that's like.
I had horses most of my adult life but the last of them died in 2007 and my pets now are a pair of house rabbits who certainly keep me busy.
I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forum to ask but here goes anyway. Does anybody know whether any research is being done into using stem cells to improve the condition of joints? If this is being discussed somewhere else I'll be grateful for a link to the discussion.

Hi RosL
Welcome to the online community it is lovely to meet you, house rabbits sound wonderful. You certainly would not bore us with the details of your arthritis we all understand here. I am sure some other members will be along to say hello.
As regards your question I have asked our wonderful Information manager Pete to have a look into this for you and I will get back to you later. Meanwhile here is a list of all the stem cell research being done at Arthritis Research UK that may well cover your topic.
Best Wishes
