I caught an item on breakfast TV about new words that had just made it into the dictionary. This is my favourite and one that I think many of us will find useful.
Quacksalver

He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

A good word, Slosh (especially for these forums  ) but not new. It's one of several old words uncovered by York Uni. They'd fallen into disuse but still seem relevant. Here's the article giving the others http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41266000 I rather like 'rouzy-bouzy' - boisterously drunkIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I must admit I missed the intro to the item. I am going to be making good use of it. Think it's due to be revived. He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.
