Am awaiting arthroscopy next month to remove crystals from right knee. Any advice from others who have had it done please?

    Hello GrandmaS and welcome.

I think this is the removal of crystals, possibly due to gout or pseudo gout. Am I right? If so, it's not a common topic on here but UI've found you a former thread http://tinyurl.com/kg54rxn . Maybe, if you re-post on the Living With Arthritis forum, someone with experience of it will see and reply. Good luck with the op :D

    Hello GrandmaS

I don't know if this might help, but I popped Chondrocalcinosis into the search engine on Arthritis Research Uk and got this:

    http://www.arthritisresearchuk.org/system/search-results.aspx?keywords=Chondrocalcinosis

    Might be worth a look?

    Bets of luck
