I have had my appointment come through for "trigger point injections" in my neck and shoulders, what I presume are steroid injections. The letter says nothing to eat/drink after 3.00am (and no I won't be getting up at 2.00 to eat) and i can have black tea at 7.00 am, my appointment is at 8.
I will be asking for pocket duties nearer the time but has anyone any experience of these and what to expect?

Sorry, Slosh. I've had ordinary steroid jabs in my shoulders but nothing I'd to fast for. I hope it goes well and helps.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thanks Sticky, that's the bit I don't get. I have an appointment with my GP next week so I can ask him but I may also contact the hospital.

I've had steroid injections into knees and one ankle but whether those count a trigger points or not I don't know. The neck is a particularly delicate area of the body so perhaps this could be the reason for the fast? Anyhoo, if PDs are required you can count me in. DD
