18 year old with arthritis

Hello, this is my first post on here. I've been recently diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis at 18, and am looking to connect with people who are of a similar age and are experiencing arthritis too. I've started Sulfasalazine but stopped taking it due to coming up in bad heat rashes whilst taking it, which I've been told is a possible allergic reaction. Has anyone experienced anything similar whilst taking sulfa? Thanks guys:)

You mention rash when you took sulfasalazine? I will let the forum members tell you about their own experience on it, but in the meantime this is Arthritis Research UK’s information on the medication. It does refer to rashes as being a possible early side-effect.
