I have my first consultant appointment next week with NHS after GP referral.
Can I expect new meds straight away or will he want fresh bloods and xrays-the last were done in the summer.

I'm sorry to say I don't know, it depends on how the consultant usually operates. Mine was many years ago and I think I dimly recall more bloods, Xrays and lung function tests before I began meth tablets (I have asthma). I wish you well and please let us know how you get on. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi
I'm afraid I don't know either. Everyone is different. If you have anything you want to ask him make a note before you go. If you are anything like most of us when you get there you'll forget things you want to ask
This will apply more to any following appointments really, you wont really know what to ask on your first appointment.
Just listen to him and mentally make notes
Good luck and keep us up to date
Love
