Hi, I saw a tweet and thought I’d say hello. I’ve had difficulties with rheumatoid arthritis for 10 years or so. Now I’ve some degenerative joint problems, and it’s rather painful. I’m hoping to get some advice. Look forward to chatting.

Hi Peter1,
Thanks for joining us, we are an intrepid band who like to help others, and help ourselves along the way. I’ve made many friends on here and shared joys and woes alike, I’m sure you will too.
Right now my knee 'Daisy' was one year old yesterday, I’ve seen the specialist last Thursday and got the OK to leave knee 2 until the last moment, with a promise to act soon after I ask my go to write to him. I’ve also got fibromyalgia and 2 autoimmune conditions so can’t go out to work any more. Coming on here has helped keep me positive.
If you can ask some specific questions or give a bit more information I’m sure we can help lighten the load a little.
Please post wherever you feel comfortable - you will be made very welcome
Take care

Hello, it's nice to meet you and I am sorry you have had to find us. I have psoriatic plus osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, I began back in 1997 when I was 37 so know a little about living with progressive and degenerating conditions. I am having a very rough day so am forcing myself to go out for a walk in the hope that will free things up a least a little - it will improve my mood if nothing else! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
