Pain relief

Hi and thankyou for the warm welcome in a different post. No different from many, I live with chronic pain with acute episodes. I have RA and joint degeneration. I have recently been prescribed slow release Morphine Sulfate. Has anyone here any experience of taking Morphine Sulfate? It seems a big step up. I’m on the usual methotrexate etc. Any advice gladly received.

I had some for the harder times, fifty tablets lasted me around four years and I cannot be bothered to ask for more because it was a battle to get them. They made little difference for me, it was more a placebo effect I suspect, but everyone is different.
None of the meds I have taken for my PsA have ever reduced pain levels, nor the DMARDs or NSAIDs. Never mind. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
