Can anyone tell me how many people suffer with symptomatic arthritis in Britain. Are there recordable numbers?

As for statistics; I don’t personally have any, but this article might help you a little:

The NHS report that over 10 million people in the UK have arthritis:

I'm not entirely sure what you want to know but it is thought there are around ten million in the UK who have arthritis, the majority having osteo. It is not a disease reserved for the elderly and it comes in more versions than osteo and rheumatoid. It is a very common condition.Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this.
