Do you have any information on dual diagnosis of PsA & AS?

Hello Helpline Team,

I am new to the forum. I have a diagnosis of PsA and waiting for confirmation on if I have AS as well. I am 47 and I work, I’m a wife and mum. I have been trying to keep life with my condition(s) together for years, but recently my PsA has become unresponsive to my biologic and I have found myself suffering with intense back pain on rest and continuously over the past 3 days. It’s so bad that I can’t sit or stand for too long and I am in pain 24/7. I was hoping you had literature/information on individuals that have a dual diagnosis of PsA and AS that maybe useful.

Sorry to hear you’re in pain Kim. It may be a good idea to ask for a review of your medication if your PsA is unresponsive. There are other types of biologics and it may be worth to have this checked and find the best type for you.
