Hip Support

I had one hip replaced 3 months ago and will go back to my GP for a referral for the other one.

In the means time any tips for supporting my hip particularly walking

    Well done on getting hip number one sorted :D I hope you get many, happy years out of it.

    As for hip number two - I'm afraid it's a matter of same again. I remember you asking previously about hip supports. I've never used them nor heard of anyone who did.Strong mscles are the best support you can give your hip and the exercises you'll have already been shown will help. I exercise daily just to keep mine in good working order.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    I would guess walking aids is your best bet so that you take as much strain off your hip as possible. Can you ask your GP for a referral to physio for advice?

    I wouldn't waste your money on the strap supports.. I found using one crutch instead of a stick help till I had my op
