After a long, scary wait, a friend, in Canada, has just had a pacemaker fitted. She arrived at the hospital at 6.15am and left at 11.45am with instructions of what to do if........

That's 5½ hours from in to out

They weren't even going home as they live too far away so any hospital visit requires a stay in a hotel.

It makes me feel like a spoilt softie
