Thumb fusion

I am post op 4 days after thumb arthrodesis, can anyone tell me there stories and recovery from having one , as so early for me I don’t know what to expect yet

I did a search in the search engine above and very little came up. It seems this isn't a very common operation or else it's so common the patients don't bother rocking up here
Most of my finger and thumb joints have fused themselves. It's great - they don't hurt anymoreIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I am due to have a thumb fusion , the joint under the nail has self fused (i'm useless with joint names) the one below needs fusing.
Have you had any joints fused before or is this your first?
