Starting anew

I know that sounds like a poem title, but it isn't. I'm just finding my way around our brand, spanking, new forum. How to get to the most recent post. Think I've got it, but not too sure. So I'm re-posting this one in honour of mig.

When Will My Hair Grow Back?

When will my hair grow back?

Be it white or red or black

straight or with curl

I’ll look like a girl

the day my hair grows back.

Now don’t get me wrong

 I’m not vain

and losing my hair was no pain

but my head gets quite cold

and I look rather old

so when will my hair grow back?

***********************************

Don't worry, I'll get there in the end.

Very glam mig. I try to keep mine short too mig, easier to manage. But it grows so fast. My photo was taken in the middle of my treatment, so I'll post another from just after. I wanted it to be either white or red, but it came back boring old brown. 😏

Daily Poem (one of my favourites)

    Jabberwocky

    BY LEWIS CARROLL

’Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:

    All mimsy were the borogoves,

          And the mome raths outgrabe.

    “Beware the Jabberwock, my son!

The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!

Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun

          The frumious Bandersnatch!”

    He took his vorpal sword in hand;

Long time the manxome foe he sought—

So rested he by the Tumtum tree

          And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,

The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,

Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,

          And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through

          The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!

He left it dead, and with its head

          He went galumphing back.

“And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?

Come to my arms, my beamish boy!

    O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!”

          He chortled in his joy.

’Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:

    All mimsy were the borogoves,

          And the mome raths outgrabe.

Thank you Carol and Babs. Isn't our new forum SUPERB. The only problem for me is even when I go to recent links, I can't get to the last post in Val's Cafe, which is why I'm posting in here.

Carol, it will be so easy to post your family photos, and easy for us to see them.

Babs, Hope your brother is still doing well.

Joan and Sue.I hope you are finding your way round here.

mig, when is your next appointment with Dr P?

Toni, have you heard from Bill recently? Wouldn't Aidan just love having his own thread.

Anyone else, lovely to see you. XXXX

Hi Kath I see Dr P in 4 months we will discuss when I need to start any ra treatment yet, she said I could come back in 6 months or a year so I opted for 6 months.

Love to all and Bill. X

@kathleenT What would you like to happen? We can "Sink" discussions so they don't appear in "Recent Posts" and they will quickly go down in the listings, if that is what you want. Message me and will see what we can do 😃

Nice hairstyle @mig . I’ve had hair loss problems in the past (but not arthritis-related), I know it’s v upsetting though, especially in some ways for females, your looking very glam though! You know my hair is growing so fast now, I’ll be making quilts out it soon, lol, there are up and downsides to everything, lol! Tc.
