I was prescribed 10mg amitriptyline around 2 years ago then last year went to doctor with weakness on one side, stroke? MRI brain, clear, Neurologist.. Cervical Myelopathy? MRI neck and spine , clear.... EMG like an electrical test on nerves.. clear..... so then I started thinking this started happening Not long after I started taking this drug... now still have weakness on one side, balance is real bad, sometimes slurred speech ... has anybody else had this? I am now waiting to speak to my doctor, but with this corona virus it's been very busy.... I have since stopped taking it for 10 days, I'm not expecting miracles if this was the cause, it maybe has done the damage ?

I'm so sorry to hear you are having problems that you suspect are due to taking amitriptyline. Going straight back to your doctor was the best course of action and fingers crossed that you get an early appointment soon.
