The show of appreciation is set to take place at 8pm this evening from the nation's doorsteps, windows, gardens and balconies.

    dependant on how sore my hands are tonight I may or may not be clapping. But I will definitely be cheering/whistling, banging a pan. It's very little to do.

    It was lovely my whole street came out clapping, we have several nhs workers in our local community.
