I’m due a blood test for methotrexate in 4 weeks time. Am I likely to be able to go for one?

    Hi djanewill

thank you for your question, and welcome to the forums. In the first instance it would be good if you could talk to your GP practise and ask them for their advice on how they are managing regular blood tests as this will vary from practice to practice.

There is some guidance on NICE here

I hope this is useful and I think things will become clearer as time goes on. Come back and let us know how you got on as this information will be useful for other

    Best Wishes

I organised one via my GPs. I emailed the surgery with my request, explaining why I needed one, they rang me with an appointment. It was done on April 01 and the next will be done, by the same method if required, in July. DD

Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben
