Hi all new to this forum I'm 44 and have osteoarthritis in both my hips. Was diagnosed late last year. I have regular acupuncture that helps with the pain but now where in lockdown I'm in agony can't sleep can't sit. I'm working from home and have to sit at my laptop anyone recommend anything I can do to eliviate this pain.

Hi JayH1 welcome to the online Community.
I'm so sorry to hear that your hip pain is proving so difficult. There are a number of things you can try to see if they work for you which can be found on our comprehensive page on the subject:
- This includes a section on Managing symptoms and also Exercises that you might like to try.
- There is also some more general advice on Managing your pain
- You can also ask for help from your GP, specifically to refer you to a Pain Management Clinic.
Best wishes

Try putting your laptop on the kitchen work surface and perch on a stool as this will effectively reduce your hip angle, it won't get rid of the pain but should reduce it a bit.
