Thumb spur

A couple of months ago a spur started growing on the inside of my lower thumb joint. It has been excruciatingly painful to bend my thumb, with joints clicking. Pain and bending is easing now but the large spur remains.
Does anyone have experience of this and how do you manage it?

Hello @MelG welcome to the Versus Arthritis online Community.
I am sorry to hear about your thumb joint. It sounded very painful and although you say that is easing now you are left with a 'spur'.
I am attaching some information about hand and wrist pain/conditions for you to read until one of our members come along to support you:
Best wishes
Ellen
