31 year old saying hi
I recently been diagnosed with arthritis - been having pains in my right foot since August - struggled to walk for many weeks .
Still trying to get my head around the diagnosis and I’m having difficulties to accept to be honest with everyone .
Feeling quite lonely even though I’m not .
Any one else out there in my age a struggling ?
Thanks Izabelle

Hi Izabelle, sorry to hear about your diagnosis so young. Being 31 is a not too distant memory for me, but I was very active until my hip was xrayed a few months ago and they found severe arthritis rather than a bit of soft tissue damage. It was a huge shock, so I know how you feel. The thought of not being able to go back to fell walking and kayaking etc is breaking my heart, but equally it gives me determination to keep doing as much as I can and make the best of it, at whatever level, and just hope that hip replacement will let me get some of it back. And if I can't ride again, I will just hug a horse instead. (They don't seem to mind!)
I hope they can find a treatment that will give you some of your life back, or that you can find different ways of getting enjoyment, which may send you on some interesting new life journeys.
