Hi Bobsies,
I am sorry to read your post about how much pain you are in. Have you spoke to your doctor or another Health professional about your pain relief as you have said already you are on a high dosage of Morphine.
Please don't feel useless, just remember this isn't your fault. It's none of our faults.
If you feel you need to speak to someone here is the helpline number: 0800 5200 520
Also the website address is attached as well so you can have a look at that and see if you can find anything that will help or give you extra advice about pain or osteoarthritis.
However, to leave your post on a good note. Your other half sounds like a good man and all while he's helping you and doing everything for you then let him do it. If he didn't love you he wouldn't do it.

No, it is not you being silly, it is you being dimished and reduced by pain, we all feel that at times. I plunged into depression when my OA was diagnosed in 2011 because I already had another kind of arthritis so I thought I had ticked that box. To this day I take a small daily dose of an anti-depressant because if I am stronger mentally I can manage better physically. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
