Hi, i am 41 in July and i have had rheumatoid arthritis since i was 16. I was diagnosed just weeks before i was due to join the army. Because i was diagnosed at such a young age (apparently it was/ is rare for a male of that age to have it) i did not really take it seriously. I carried on as normal, did not attend hospital appointments and did not take my tablets. I am regretting it now. My fingers have now started to turn outwards and my motibility is becoming effected. I am also a single parent with a 13 year old daughter and i am currently at the end of year one of a law degree. I thought i would have a look on here while in lockdown to see what help and advice is around and also, if i can give any myself.
