New wheelchair
I already have an electric wheelchair which can raise me up and be fully adjusted to make it as comfortable as possible but it is huge and heavy. I used to be able to put it in the boot of my car using a hoist until the DVLA took my driving licence away on health grounds last October, since then I have been virtually housebound except going to the village shop on my mobility scooter. But on Tuesday a new folding electric wheelchair is being delivered courtesy of the British Legion so it will be easier for me to go out if someone offers to take me or to get a taxi. The chair is a Pride iGo and is light and compact. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! (Just need the virus to go now!)
