Roaming arthritis
If I get an attack in my hand after a day it subsides but is then replaced by swelling and pain in my knees or hip ir shoulder etc.
Does anyone else get this?

Hi and welcome to the Versus Arthritis forum.
I don’t think is sounds stupid at all and I suspect it’s not unusual for the occurrence of swelling and pain to move around the body. I’m sure that other forum members will be able to provide you with some useful input.
I don’t know if you’ve visited our main website but there’s a host of information there that would probably be worth your while browsing https://www.versusarthritis.org/about-arthritis/

I hope you receive some meaningful feedback and I’d encourage you to participate in as many topics as you feel are relevant to you.

Sounds like arther, rotten little so an so isn’t he! I’ve never been clear if pain moving around is a good or bad thing but typical of the symptoms of OA. Mine has changed over the last few decades, the pain is never far away but heat, rest, mild exercise helps as does keeping busy. Painkillers are no use, being jumped on by the grandchildren has its benefits😊.
