It’s getting to that time of year again.....

.... well, for those of us in the south of the UK where temperatures are climbing.

My Benepali is stored in the fridge, as per instructions, but the Methotrexate pens spend the winter in a bathroom cabinet.

With higher temperatures expected, It’s time to store them in the fridge too.

That fridge is being kept busy these days. The bottom shelf is where quarantined foods are parked. Things get a disinfectant wipe when they come into the house and then a few days on the isolation shelf, just to mak siccar *

I also have a shelf in the hall where we leave non-fridge stuff to quarantine.

Overkill, perhaps, but with two of us shielding it seems sensible.

Hope you’re all staying safe and coping.

*mak siccar - to make sure

I keep my humira in the fridge but my meth has had to move from its north facing cupboard. It's now in a lidded ottoman in our bedroom, nicely in the dark and cool too.

Don't forget the sun screen if you're sitting outside even in the shade. I sat out for ten minutes the other morning, completely forgot my factor 30 and came in with lovely strap marks from my dress! I hope your safety measures are keeping you well, so far so good in Suffolk. DD

Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben
