Hi my name is Wendy and I have osteoarthritis in my hands and knees, it's also going into my back and shoulders. Just wondering what tips people have for day to day living?

Do what you can when you can even if it just for 5 minutes. If you live alone get a cat.

Be prepared to rethink how you do things, e.g vegetables do not have to peeled standing at a sink, one can sit down at a table, ironing too. On bad days just scrub the veg or serve pasta. Buy fatter handled utensils (I like the OXO Good Grips range). Change all household kit for lighter / cordless models, do not be afraid to use mobility aids, we moved house for my benefit - a tad extreme but I am pleased we did! I have osteo in my ankles, knees, hips, wrists and one shoulder, plus another kind in my toes, fingers and knees. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
