What works for some people doesn’t work for others, and some people have reported not tolerating amitryptilene very well. I’ve been on it for a while for depression and it suits me well, can’t comment on how it works for pain relief as my OA only came on after I’d been on amitryp for a while, although for all I know it was masking the pain of the OA until it really took off after a fall.
