Hi @Marleybob and a warm welcome to our online community.
As a Staff Nurse in a cataract Unit taking methotroxate and humira, you have presumably been advised to suspend work for the time being. Before you return, you should talk to your Rheumatologist and your Managers at work. It is difficult to get hold of consultants sometimes, but perhaps you could contact their secretary or maybe go through your own GP?
I'm sure others on the site have experience of dealing with this issue and can give you support and advice, but it really is down to your individual circumstances when would be a suitable time for you to return.
Here's a link to the Versus Arthritis help pages that you might find useful:
All the best and please let us know how you get on,
Anna
