Buses run by First Bus in Scotland are operating at a reduced capacity with around 1 in 4 seats being available. A new app that you can download to your phone will help to plan journeys, see available capacity and buy tickets all in one place.
You can now track your bus live on a map so you know exactly where it is and when it will get to your stop. What’s more, each bus now displays in real time if the wheelchair space is free and how many empty seats there are.
First Bus has a good information page on travelling by public transport in Scotland and you can find out more about the app here.

It would be nice if I could get on a bus in my wheelchair down here!
