Join the Let's Move exercise programme
Let’s Move with Leon is a free and exclusive exercise programme featuring weekly 30-minute movement sessions delivered right to your email inbox.
The classes are designed and presented by exercise expert Leon Wormley, who specialises in working with people with arthritis and related conditions. We know that everyone is different and that exercising with arthritis can be tricky. In the #LetsMovewithLeon programme you'll get support to make adaptations so that you can do what’s right for you.

Hello - I watched the preparation video but being alone I didn't dare risk getting down on the floor but may have a go when I have someone with me. I've just watched the first video on mobility - absolutely brilliant and determined to master all the exercises - slowly! - but just watching and trying bits out I went from my usual stress mode to a much calmer state and was sorry the video was over! Will certainly try and have a go at this all week - it's lovely to see that Leon has his mother as the demonstrator as we can all relate to her. Thank you Leon and Mum and Versus Arthritis for producing this series. It lifts the spirits especially as a lot of the 'moves' are for seated people. Love it! Helen.

There's a new hub for the Let's Move campaign where a lot of the activity and resources are linked to - it's a good place to get started:

Leon is brilliant ...... and his mum. I've got a bit cheesed off doing my own physio , so seeing Leon & Mum really cheers me up and helps me stay motivated. Can't do it every day with Leon, but am using his exercises and feeling more energised.
Like it too because he doesn't shout at you, like they do in some exercise classes, but encourages, nor does he expect you to do what you can't with rusty joints. Thanks Leon & Mum.

So pleased to see we are giving Leon's and Mum's exercises a go. We have nothing to lose but to gain something new like taking our minds off pain and discomfort for at least 30 minutes a session. Something to look forward to each week especially if we are struggling with the new lockdown rules. Stay safe everyone .

Hi @Sueash53
The activity tracker is a pdf document that when you click on the link will open in a new tab/window in your browser (Safari, if you are using the default browser on an iPad): https://www.versusarthritis.org/media/22879/lets-move-with-leon-activity-tracker.pdf
From there, you can click the browser's Share button to save (see below), print, Add to reading list / Bookmarks and so on.
From the Let's Move with Leon page
(https://www.versusarthritis.org/about-arthritis/exercising-with-arthritis/lets-move-with-leon):
The activity tracker is your guide to the Let’s Move with Leon programme. It contains reminders of what was covered in the session, as well as tips and instructions for your weekly activity dose. You can use it to keep track of your goals and progress, and make plans for the activities you’ll be doing over the next few weeks.
The tracker can be printed out and stuck to your fridge as a reminder, but it’s also interactive – meaning you can complete it on your computer, tablet or smartphone.
Saving
- From Safari, I saved the pdf document to my iCloud files.
- Using the iPad's Files App I can then open it again and record my activity there, saving it by clicking Done
- I can go back and add more to it at any time by using the Files App to find and open the document.
Hope this helps 😃
Best wishes

Hi @Tenderspore
Lovely to meet you, I'm so glad you are giving the let's move sessions a go. I really enjoyed it when I did that. I found it good to know it was 12 weeks so the commitment wasn't forever and it was fantastic to see all the different exercises, I've got a pick and mix now for daily use to cover the bits that make me feel best.
Do remember you don't do anything you find painful though
Take care

The sessions are brilliant. Since lockdown, my arthritis has got much worse as I haven't been able to go to the gym. After three weeks of following the sessions I feel so much better and more positive. Please keep the links on the site. I think I'll be doing them for ever!
