Trying to come to terms

Hi I am so tired of the pain and limitations of my osteoarthritis. I feel like my Consultant is not interested and just fobs me off with strong pain meds which impact my ability to function at work. Having expert major dip in my mobility and increase in pain over Christmas I am really trying to make changes that will give me more control over my life. Can anyone provide any suggestions on things that have helped particularly with pain and mobility. My hotspots are hips and severe groin pain and my left foot where it is always swollen and painful.
