Hi everyone. I am 63 and have been battling fibromyalgia for 20 years, and was diagnosed with RA about 5 years ago.

After many, many different medications I started biologic injections just before Christmas. I was very sceptical about the treatment because I had so many failures in the past, but....hey, I actually feel more in control of my illness now.

After months of not being able to walk more than a few feet without rest, I have signed up for ‘Let’s move with Leon’ and have actually completed the 1st session without a twinge! Things are looking up!..... 😁

Hi @janp72 - welcome to the online community!

You've had Fibromyalgia for quite some time, and have also been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthrtis more recently. After a while and trying different things out you've finally found some medication which works for you, and it's let you sign up for the Lets Move with Leon exercise course, and you're feeling more hopeful now and for the future.

This is all fantastic news! You've found a way to manage your condition and start to look forward to things improving. And I see you've also joined in accross the community already 😊I'm really happy for you, and I'm so glad you've decided to join up and share your experiences here.

While I'm sure you've had a lot of information already, I'll share our pages on RA and Fibromyalgia in case there's something there you don't already know.

I do hope you join in accorss the community, we're a very friendly bunch.

    It's lovely to meet you!

    Shell_H, thanks for the welcome.

I had my telephone appt today with my Rheumatology Nurse Specialist.

Since starting Imraldi (adalimumab) injections in December my CRP levels have gone from 44 down to an amazing 7! That is the lowest it’s been for at least 3 years. No wonder I feel better and more mobile.😁😘
