Morning all
Just over a year ago I was diagnosed with Sjogren's and prescribed Hydroxychloroquine (400mg daily). Since then I have suffered no flare ups or pain of any kind and life has been good.
3 weeks ago I had the AstraZeneca jab and since that day have had the burning pain of arthritis in the shoulder of the arm that I had it in and now it's also in my big toe leaving me unable to sleep, bend it and making it difficult to wear shoes.
Is there any possibility that it's related? Could the jab have reduced the effectiveness of my medication? I'm waiting for a call back from my doctor but I was wondering if anyone else had had the same thing happen. Whilst I don't want covid, the horrible pain I'm now in is putting me off getting the second dose.
Anyway, sorry for that downer first thing on a Thursday morning. I promise I'm generally a very happy, positive person but blimey 3 weeks of the pain is getting me down
