Has anyone tried a inflatable neck collar ?

I tried one of these this week amd when i took it off my neck hurt such a lot, even worse than it was before. It is supposed to help various neck problems like pinched nerves etc. Since my problem hasn't been diagnosed yet i could infact be making it worse. Has anyone tried these collars ?

    I use a front fastening cervical collar which was prescribed by my OT, due to the complexities of the neck I would not use anything that was not prescribed.
