Just diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my 30's
Hi guys,
I have just been diagnosed with OA and I really am lost. I don't know how to feel or what to do next?! My hands are so swollen and painful. Does anyone know what type of pain relief is helpful? Also can I slow the disease down?
Thanks. Charmaine

Welcome to the forum, @Char19
It is a shock, isn't it? I can well remember my own feelings 40 odd years ago. Despair, anger at those who didn't accept the situation. Anyway, here I am all those years later, still going strong.
Now for some pointers to advice from our website:
This is an external website that many have found helpful: https://escape-pain.org/
We whish you luck, please let us know how you get on and remember not to regret the things you can longer do, but rejoice in what you can.
Tom
