Osteoarthritis - worst it's ever been
Hello
I’ve had osteoarthritis for at least 10 years. This past week has been the worst. I had been walking at a CentreParc, and now the whole area of my knee and the back of the knee, below and above the knee is very painful, my calf muscle feels very hard, it’s the worst it’s ever been. No pain killer is touching the pain. What can I do?

Osteoarthritis can get very stroppy if we overdo things but, from your description, I think it might be worth checking that you don't have a Baker's Cyst. Here's some info https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/bakers-cyst/
If, after reading it, you stll think it's a possibility I'd ask for an appointtment to let someone medical check it out. The bulge doesn't have to be as obvious as the one in the picture but the fact that it's back of the knee plus calf pain does suggest it could be this though my only expertise is having had one so lóng ago I've forgotten all details and my husband having one that we'll never forget as it was Christmas Day when we spent ages in A&E😫
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
