Need some tips if possible please.
I love exercise before I was told I had arthritis I was walking 35,423 steps a day It’s been a month since I was told by the hospital that I had arthritis in my left knee because my knee gave away at work . So I’m reading up about arthritis and I still going to workout with my personal trainer but has any one got any tips etc

Hi shortstuff, I guess with knees the main thing is to avoid high impact exercise such as running. You could replace this with cycling or swimming, and keep in tone with Pilates and yoga. I would suggest a session with a physio rather than a personal trainer would be really helpful to you at this stage, as they will be able to best advise on exercises that won’t damage your knee further but will strengthen the muscles around the affected joint to better support you.
