Covid and biologics
Should I continue to take my biologic medicine, which I inject weekly if I think I may have Covid?

If you are taking these on instruction from your GP I would start there by asking them what they think. Otherwise try the NHS helplines (111) for advice

Hi @MissA
Thank you for posting on the helpline forum about biologic medication and Covid. I’m sorry you think you may have Covid. I appreciate how concerned you must be feeling. Thanks for your reply PeterJ.
We aren’t medically trained on the helpline, so we can’t answer your question. As PeterJ says, you need a medical opinion. Therefore, if you haven't already done so, we would advise you to contact your rheumatology nurse helpline, GP or NHS 111 as soon as possible for individual medical advice.
The current advice is that you should not stop taking your medications unless advised to do so by your rheumatologist or rheumatology nurse.

I hope this is helpful and that you feel better soon.
Best wishes
