Psin spreading to nearby joints while i await arthrodesis

I had an accident and broke both ankles. However a year later which was 2018 they found out i had arthritis on my left ankle. At first the pain was minimal but now its constantly in pain and sometimes it flares up badly. The left hip is now in pain which is quite moderate now. The right ankle is iin moderate pain aswell as the right hip and my back. Unfortunately due to covid there'sno chances of getting an operation anytime soon. Pain management has become unbearable and when you explain it to my doc he says u have to find ways of managing till they start operating. I don't know how long one can hold on to such kinda pain with no hopeof being assisted.
