Radiofrequency ablation
Got a call from the local hospital today to go in at the weekend for my second go at radiofrequency nerve ablation. It have me a lot of relief for about 8 weeks the first time I did it, I'm hoping it lasts a bit longer this time round. Grateful that I'll be getting another round done, not looking forward to the procedure itself but I know what to expect and I'm sure I'll get through it.

I have had it a couple of times and had no long term effect from it, the Consultant doing it said it was because the nerves are clever little things which will re-route themselves if damaged, i.e. from the ablation. The worst part of my last procedure was suffering from the halitosis that the nurse at my head end had; it really counteracted what was happening behind me!!!

Haha that sounds horrendous! I'm willing to keep trying it for now as I would say I had an 80% improvement even if it didn't last forever. I will take that over my normal symptoms any day!
