Hi there I'm new on here and I have had ruematoid artheritis for number of years. I like being a positive person a friend recommended to start talking more about my condition to help with my confidence so thought I'd try this site.

It's lovely to meet you and welcome you to the Versus Arthritis Online Community.

I see you have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for some time and a friend thought you ought to talk more about your Arthritis. This really is an excellent place to talk with others who understand.

When I was first diagnosed I found it so helpful to talk to others in a similar position to me. It felt wonderful to not feel alone anymore. I was 'young' to have Arthritis and no-one in my circle of friends could relate.

While you are waiting for someone to come along I wonder if it might be helpful to read one or two 'real life stories by people with RA?
