Drug side effects
Hi there.
I was diagnosed with RA last December.I am on methotrexate and Sulphasalazine. The nausea I have 2 or 3 days a week is terrible. I have been told that it is a side effect of the drugs. Any suggestions how to combat the nausea.
Also finding it very hard to come to terms with my diagnosis. Any suggestions.
Thanks

Hi @Lesleynoon, welcome to the Online Community! It's lovely to have you here.
I see that you are taking methotrexate and sulphasalazine for rheumatoid arthritis, I'm sorry that you are experiencing nausea. There was a fairly recent discussion about MTX side effects that has some tips you might find helpful, here's the link:
And here's some resources on the Versus Arthritis website that include information about your meds and dealing with nausea:
Please do keep us updated, it's good to talk 😊
Best wishes, Sarah (moderator)
