Practical help
Hi, so I have osteoarthritis in my left hip, newly diagnosed, and am looking for advice on practical daily living activities. For instance I am struggling to cut my toe nails, apply heel cream and even shave my leg. I'm fine doing my right side but can't really walk around with one shaved and one hairy leg! 🤣 also have the usual difficulties of putting on socks/shoes and lifting my leg into my car.
I know everyone has their own way of doing things so looking all different ideas I can try to see which is best for me.
Thank you

As for nails I use a pair of large cutters that fit in my hand, about £12 on l8ne, I let them get slightly longer than best then I find it easier to use the clippers and just cut in three straight lines rather than get too faffy about them.
Heel cream- use a sponge on a long handle (back scrubber from local chemist) . A footbath first may help?
I am very hairy but don’t shave! 😛😛😛😛.
over to you!
it’s a grin, honest!
