Disturbed sleep at night from ankles setting and causing leg pain
Hello I’m Trish ,I have O A in all my joints waiting for shoulder replacement ,but at the moment struggling with my legs when in bed.The ankles are setting and causing pain in the legs up the back muscles below the knee , have to get up and try to walk to free the ankles.Can happen 4-5 times a night phoned Drs only got offered pain killers 🙄any one else have this problem and how do they cope with it ?

I see you have widespread Osteoarthritis and are awaiting a shoulder replacement, but it seems your main problem at the moment is your ankles 'setting' in position causing knock on pain further up your legs. If this is happening several times a night it must be very tiring for you.
Your GP has offered painkillers. I am sure you have seen a physiotherapist in the past, but wonder if you have considered seeing one with this new issue?
