I am waiting for my consultant appointment-and I want a knee replacement which I do not think he will be willing to give me as I am hypermobile.
My plan is if get no where I will be asking for a second opinion with someone else.
That may be your best option if you are not happy

It's always unsettling when we're not sure what's going on. Even more so when it's the consultant who doesn't seem to know. Hang on in there. I hope the CT scan will help. I guess it doesn't have to be arthritis in your big toe. It could just be referred pain from elsewhere. Referred pain can be every bit as painful. But, hopefully, you'll get a full answer soon.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Excellent. Let's know the outcome as and when.
