Finally have a diagnosis
After almost 3 years I have finally got a diagnosis, two MRI's and two X Ray's later. I have Spinal Stenosis. It has been suggested along the line that surgery will be offered, still waiting to speak to Consultant again. I obviously need to have some questions answered, big decision but I just want my life back again, I mourn it everyday. Anyone been in same position? Many thanks.

A diagnosis always helps more than uncertainty. My back is my best, most non-arthritic feature so I've no words of wisdom to offer except not to be carried away by hopes of 'getting your life back'. I always feel that's unrealistic with arthritis. Find out how successful the op is for how many and how long. Meanwhile enjoy the life you have. Don't waste it in mourning. Emphasis the good bits.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
