Shoulder replacement

Had a meeting with my consultant yesterday the outcome I’ve signed up for a shoulder replacement operation which should be next year Has anyone out there had this done and what can I expect ? Recovery possible outcome and how successful it can be .?

I wouldn't be surprised if she pos along to offer you support.

My own daughter also had her shoulder replaced at 19 due to cancer treatment giving her Avascular Necrosis in it.

My daughter has made an amazing recovery and can lift her arm right above her head (it had totally collapsed), but she is very young and will no doubt need it done again a few times during her lifetime.
