Small triumph - changing turning taps to lever 1/4turn
I know this isn’t exciting and big, but for years I’d struggled with leaky old taps that needed tightening really hard to stop the drip drip. This would leave my hand feeling bruised even before RA. When I got diagnosed I figured this would become a nightmare, so on a good day I switched from tap to lever, and it was the best proactive thing I’ve done. The cost was trivial, less than £10 and I wish I’d done it years ago. The lever moves really easily and no drips!
Apologies its not something big & exciting, but if anyone struggles with home taps, this works really well for me.

A good point, arthritis. I've had lever taps for years. Why inflict extra pain on ourselves?

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I totally agree. I’ve just had my bathroom renovated & insisted on lever taps, which make a huge difference to the wrist joints & they’re so fashionable too 😉
