Knees
Hi everyone, I am new to this community and I am looking for advice on arthritis in the knee. I am 55 and have had this for about 10 years, but it has deteriorated over the past couple of months, to the point that it now gives way walking up the stairs, and I have had to stop yoga and limit my walking. The doctors are referring me to Physio and I have an Xray scheduled in a coupke of weeks. I would love to get back to my yoga - can anyone give any advice? Thanks for your time

Welcome to the online community and thank you for sharing your story with us.
So you have arthritis in your knee and have noticed that after 10 years, it has started to deteriorate. It has started to give way when walking up stairs, you’ve had to stop yoga as well as limit your walking. You are waiting for physio and are due an xray in a couple of weeks. You would love to get back to doing yoga and are looking for a bit of advice.
I have found the following links on our main Versus Arthritis page that I think may be of use to you.
I hope that these are some help to you and Im sure other people within the community will have their own ideas and tips to share with you as well.
